This book is a physical journey through the science of the human body. The book starts with the digestive system. It begins with the mouth including the teeth and tongue. Then it travels to the esophagus and explains the process of swallowing. Next we hit the stomach, talking about the breaking down of food. Then to the intestines and how the food breaks into different elements. The book then takes a turn and addresses the makeup of blood. Then it explores the liver and the disposal of excess intake. The book then focuses on the heart and how it controls blood. Next is the lungs and how oxygen is taken in and carbon dioxide is released. Next is the kidneys and how they clean the blood. Then to the brain and how it controls our nerves and functions. Finally the book ends with the eye and how we take in the visuals of the world around us.

This is a cool book that takes you through the GI track. Each page is a new section of the track with a hole in the middle of the page leading to the next organ.
