This book is British and so has references for that country. It is a tongue in cheek list of excuses that a person can give for most situations an was written in 1980 so it is dated in some instances. It was OK and gave me a few chuckles but nothing that I would say made me laugh outright. I don't think I can recommend this one and I will not be looking for any other works by this author
