i had to read this first because the character's name is Caitlyn and spelt like mine which i rarely see. second, when the call her kate the author spells it Cait like i always do, its different like me, thirdly, her maiden name is Cooper like ME!! i find that ironic and lastly its set mostly in my home state of Texas!!! yay, ok it was really good, great storyline and follows very eaisly...
This was not good. I get the angst, the former lovers with a 2 sided story about why they split in the past, but she was not nice, in a way, used him for his money, and eventually did something close to the end of the book that is not okay in any way, shape or form for me to ever give this a higher rating. Her best friend was a loser who flirted outrageously with him, knowing they had a past, and constantly talked about him being a billionaire. It was just sickening. The only redeeming thing was Luke. He tried to do the right thing the minute he found out about his son. Other than that, this was just not a good book.
Caitlyn Wakefield has become friends with Sheik Hassan (billionaire) and her ranch is falling apart financially. She is widowed with a son. The Sheik buys the note on her ranch to help her out. He also has suspicions that her son is not her deceased husband's, but is his honorary son's child, Luke's (Raffi). He sends Luke to her to help her get her ranch back on it's feet financially because Luke is good at this and a billionaire too. They were one night lovers when young at he worked for her father at the ranch. They fall in love again.
