My stepdaughter dropped this on the bed for me to read 'as it is short and quick for your book thing'. She's a good kid.

It was short and I finished quickly. Some poems were great, some not so. I wouldn't call any spooky for me, neither for the intended age range, in my opinion. The illustrations were enjoyable to me more than the poems.

The watercolours are colourful and engaging. The sketch quality are approachable and eye catching.

This is a good read to do so aloud to a toddler.
