Robert Lawrence Kuhn is a public intellectual, international corporate strategist and investment banker. He has been called “one of the Western world’s most prolific interpreters of Beijing’s policies.” He holds a BA in Human Biology (Johns Hopkins), SM in Management (MIT), and PhD in Anatomy/Brain Research (UCLA). Dr. Kuhn has published over 30 books.

It is good to read a book like this 10 years after it was published since it really shows how much propaganda it contains. I still recommend reading it so that we become more aware of our surroundings when looking into China and its leadership

The Inside Story of China's 30 Year Reform by Robert Lawrence Kuhn is a very informative book which covers China's history and recent events. Despite it being a very dense book, I personally enjoyed the multiple viewpoints given in the book, and the new perspective it shows on China. I would recommend this book to readers in China or coming to China, as this book gives clarity to the causes-and-effects that influence China.
