I don’t think I’d be able to use this program to learn Japanese by myself, the teaching method felt too complicated and not particularly intuitive. It’s possible that the problem was that I’ve been studying the language for a while and found some of the lessons made things harder than they had to be.
On the other hand, I will say that this is one of the best programs when it comes to pronunciation. Each syllable is carefully explained and accompanied by examples and tips.
Not everyone learns languages the same way, so it might work for others where it failed with me. I would recommend maybe checking it out at a local library before making the investment.

I don't OWN this book, I rented it from the largo library and its actually really helpful. I used it for vocab but it does help with learning some things. I saw some things in here that I haven't seen on my internet courses or any of my other books ^.- very good for beginners.
