Read this book many times and is a great book to give as a gift.

This book was decent, it provides more a philosophical/theological answer to emotional issues in it's start. Sometimes when a book is written on suffering we need the pastoral care, which Jon Courson is, instead of the more philosophical/theological. The answer to that question should come towards the end of this book. Jon does get to the personal as you progress in this book, but the start may turn people off.

If I were a person who lost 2 people close to me... would I have the character that Jon has? Here is a man that is so spiritual and loving. A man that thanks God on a daily basis and lives life to the best. His words are heartwarming and true and his message is of love. Great read and makes you think about where you are with your heart for God.

This book changed my outlook on life. a excellent read weather walking through loss, in a tight spot, or just uncertain of what the future even could hold. Loved the book.
