This book takes place in two different time periods/locations, Third Century Celtic Ireland and New York City (2000 A.D.)

I was intrigued by the setting of this novel and gave it a shot. I found it to be a refreshing fast read with simple but interesting plot lines. At times outcomes of events are too predictable. Although this book is suitable for most age groups, my impression is that teenagers are the targeted audience.

Comparisons between ancient and modern day martial arts techniques is one of my favorite aspects of the story.

Overall, I found Warriors Within to be decent for a debut novel. I do plan on reading book two, Eyes of the Goddess. The last book of the planned trilogy has yet to be written.

Well since I wrote the book, I do need to say that I loved it. But after writing two more books, I now know how I could have made this book better. I enjoy the interaction between the characters, how they have grown as individuals and the dynamics of time travel. I hope you enjoy it too!
