I read this as a kid and LOVED this book so much. It looks like it is out of print so cannot be found anymore. I would love to re-read it as an adult just because it has so many happy memories for me. This book helped contribute to my love of reading early on in life.

I am biased for this book. When we were children, my grandmother took my sister and I to meet the author and Okee. I still have the book autographed by both. Okee's is a paw print. It will be in my collection until I am no longer around.

My teacher gave me this book knowing how much I love animals. It is great, funny, and relaxing for any nature or animal lover.....

it had interesting anecdotes but it wasn't that gripping, despite the interesting topic. If it was longer I'd probably have given up

Cute short story of a family that kept an otter as a pet. Too much work for me.

I read this book as a kid and absolutely loved it. At the time anyway. It didn't take much to thrill me back then.
