After Three Know..Walk..Respond

Rate this book
The topic of salvation through Jesus Christ has been one of discussion for centuries. It's not a rarity that we often find ourselves contemplating where we came from, what our life purpose is, and what waits for us on the other side of death. It's only until we truly know who we are and Whose we are that we can begin to grasp the concept of a life marked by the grace of God.

This book takes you through a journey to understanding what salvation through Christ is, as well as gives a picture of what true intimacy with the Lord looks like. As you flip through the pages, you will be faced with questions of great value, and before long you will find yourself examining the state of your own heart and how that relates to a life surrendered to Jesus Christ.

Dr. Ben Gutierrez is able to take deep, profound teachings of the Bible and present them in a simple and understandable way so that you walk away feeling both empowered by the knowledge you have gained and equipped to live out and practice these truths in everyday life.

I decided to give this book 3 stars because I think it fulfills the purpose for which it was written. It's for a freshman evangelism class and I can see how it would be a good resource for that. However, if you're not a freshman in evangelism class, this book is very difficult to read. Like most other Christian books, each paragraph is a main sentence and then extra words. I ended up skimming quite a bit because it just reiterated the main point over and over. It was not my preferred reading style but it is full of good, thought provoking truth.
