A bit preachy in places (which is what cost it that fifth star), but altogether very sound. The technical sections, by far the most important, are well-written and easy to follow, even for non-technical readers.

Very informative look greaser cars. Detailed description of converting a car yourself, but broad enough to address some of the bigger cultural issues surrounding the world fuel situation. Definite must read for anyone who's an environmental junkie, like myself, or just for a technical tinkerer.
