It’s difficult for me to separate this book from the wonderful memories that I have of visiting the museum with my mom. In fact, I already gave it five stars before I read it. Yes, it contains both old favorites and ones that scared me as a child. I noticed that this book only contains American and European works. Where’s the representation of the rest of the world? There are talented artists everywhere.

This is a great souvenir to take home from the Art Institute -- all the best works are in here, with descriptions.
