Rate this book
They're the bravest, baddest men ever to soar the wild blue yonder! Meet "Sweetwater" and "Sundance" - two of the most outrageous and daring jet jockeys ever to sit behind the controls of an F-14. Assigned to the aircraft carrier Kitty Hawk, these boys are living life to the fullest: harassing Russian recon planes ... raising hell on shore leave ... testing the limits of their jets, their commanding officers, and their own reputations as the Navy's best. Sweetwater Gunslinger 201 is a Top Gun novel that tells it like it really is. A high-flying adventure you'll never forget ...

I really liked the story- it was believable and compelling. Mild nudity, surprisingly tame language. I really enjoyed this book.

Sorry just couldn't warm up to the writing stile of this tale. Told like a blowhard tale in a bar.

Gunslinger 201

As a former sailor , I really enjoyed the story of Navy aviators. This book back some of the situations I recall, some good and then some not so good. Looking for more of this author.
