The trouble with this author's style is that it is very contagious. Everything I wrote for a while afterwards, including personal letters, seemed to follow her style.

Love her books, though!

Bought second-hand on a trip to Margate as a quick silly read, and did not disappoint. Slapstick household adventures in the vein of Bridget Jones, lots of excellent witty asides, entertainingly real. Unashamed fun.
