A nicely raspy, off-kilter and indignant-yet-affectionate look at one terminally goofy decade. And I went ahead and gave this book the full 5-spot, despite its rather demented take on the music of the time. I mean (among many another thing that comes to mind), how could you make fun of all the silly songs of the 70's without once mentioning "Long Tall Glasses"? (OOPS!!!)
