If you're a Barney Miller fan, this is the book for you! Where it shines is its episode guide especially! Love hearing what the author got from interviews with so many people who were involved with or appeared on the show. My only criticism would be that sometimes the author would mention his opinions on matters which prevents the book from being purely objective. But it's his book, so he can do what he wants.

I really enjoyed this book. Barney Miller has always been one of my favorites and getting more behind-the-scenes information was fascinating. The book is a bit long but worth the read if you are a fan of the show.
