This is such a powerful and well written book. It dives deep into the making of NBA star Steve Nash and how he prepared and fought for his opportunities. The author Jeff Rud does and amazing job of showing the ups and downs of Steve’s carrier and how he fought of those obstacles.

SPOLER ALERT
The making of a m.v.p. steve nash. It’s a biography. The theme of the book is about steve nash at the peak of his basketball career in the N.B.A.
This book is pretty much someing up the sporting career of sports for steve nash. His problems as a kid and trobles in collage and the late start of his N.B.A career. He did not start liking basketball till about the 8th gradeat frist he loved the game of socer. His partents were both pors at socer in candian. His fater joked with him when he wwas young “I should have cute off your fingers when he was born” so he could not play basketball and foces on scoer.
I thought that it was a very good book but maybe that’s only becaues I really like steve nash even tough he was traded to the lakers. I think what this is saying in sports you should never hie up. As a freshmen in collage he thought about just giving up but then later in the year the young kid from candia got to start becaues so many epople were getting hurt. Had a great season. This book just makes me want to try harder in sports and everything that I do. Also to never give up in anything either.
My overall aponon on the book is a great book and has some great life leasons in there. I higly recemend this book for sports fans and steve nash fans.

Steve Nash:The Making of a MVP, by Jeff Rudd, is an excellent non-fiction book. The book starts out with Steve's high school years. Steve Nash transferred high school his sophmore year just to becasue of basketball. Then, in the middle of the book it discusses his college carrer. During his freshman year he saw very little playing time but becasue of his work ethic he became the best player Santa Clara has ever had. The book ends with Steve's highs and low points in his NBA carrer. It explains how many close friendships have been ruined because of players getting traded. And it also explained the season in which Steve Nash earned his MVP award.

I think that this book would be a good book for anyone who is a basketball fan in grade school. It really explains how hard work can make your dreams come true. Steve Nash reminds me of Brian, from the Hatchet, becasue he was so close to quitting basketball but pulled through and was successful. Brian did rthe same exact thing. He was about to give up survivng in the wilderness but then he decided to tough it out. I really enjoyed this book because the author did a great job of describing Steve Nash's emotions.

I think this book is good because it is well written and has a good amount of detail, but could use a little bit more. I know because the author details every aspect of Steve Nash's life; his journey through high school, his college career at Santa Clara, the 1996 Draft and his years in the NBA. It also details his life off the court very well. It gives lots of info

Although this book is a biography, it was interesting learning on an NBA All-star and his journey to his dreams as a kid. The information the book gives you is info you couldn't find anywhere else.
