I WANT TO VISIT! Following her breakup with her cheating ex-fiancé, (who cheated with another man) Becca Dalton is ready to bring some much needed change to her life, and ex-lover Tyler Carson is the perfect companion for her as she embarks on her sexual journey. Becca's sexual tastes have always been on the side of vanilla, but her past lovers have not been receptive to her more daring requests. With Tyler's gentle and persuasive encouragement, Becca is finally able to voice her darkest desires. And she quickly discovers nothing is taboo as her wildest fantasies come to life. I want to visit this ranch. This book was well written there were no grammar mistakes. Tyler and Becca went into this knowing that they only had a week together. Becca was hurt in the past by people who she thought cared about her. Her mother who was controlling and tried to control all parts of her life and Tyler who was hurt by his ex putting her job before him. I liked this ranch because it was for couples that had lectures and taught the couples how to be open and to communicate with each other and the toy cabinet is to die for. The trust and development of their love as the story grows with each experiment and every scene is very good. And as the week progresses, both Tyler and Becca begin thinking that one week at the ranch is not enough for them. Tyler chooses to remain silent rather than force Becca to choose between him and her dream job. Believing she is unworthy of Tyler's love, Becca accepts she must leave him behind. Until Tyler's business partner steps in with a solution. This was a great story and I can't wait to read the next story in the series.

Ignore the absolutely awful cover, and get ready to suspend your disbelief, because otherwise, you will not like this book. Hiding out after finding her fiance in bed with her (male) boss, chef Becca Dalton finds herself on her pre-Honeymoon trip alone, at a ranch co-owned by her her college boyfriend, where he teaches couples workshops on adventurous sexual practices (including BDSM and menage). And somehow, despite this being a couples-only thing, she ends up staying with Tyler, and falling for him. Yes, this does require more suspension of disbelief than the average kinky romance, but otherwise, it's good. The characters have a lot of chemistry, and their relationship develops in a fairly realistic manner. It's a great second chance love story.

I read this for a challenge, though I've seen references to it before, and I like the author. The premise and intro was very good, and the early sex scenes were creative and hawt. The secondary characters were varied, though I wanted a bit more direct interaction, even if just dialog. Unfortunately, the deal was for 7 days, but it was difficult to maintain the same intensity til the end in under 200pp. The last 2 days of the story and the wrap-up felt rushed. She never did get to ride that horse. Although the ending was predictable, it was well done.

This was a really good story. I liked both Becca and Tyler and their story was hot, sweet and very engaging. This is the first story I've read by this author and based off this I'll be trying more of her work.
Becca is a good woman that has had some issues she's trying hard to get past. She got a degree in hotel hospitality and with that got in to the catering side of things, working for hotels and arranging for all types of food service, ordering and such as that. Becca's mother is very controlling and pretty much forced Becca to exclude her from her life because of her attempts to control Becca. Becca just caught her fiancee in bed with her boss and therefore no longer has a fiancee or a job. Thankfully, her fiancee was more a companion that someone she actually cared about so she wasn't really hurt by his actions and she already had an interview arranged for her dream job in a week and a half.
Tyler is part owner in a dude ranch that specializes in helping couples discover their sexuality. Tyler hasn't been in a relationship since his fiancee left him 6 months before because her career was more important to her than he was. The last thing Jared expects is an old flame to show up at the ranch, especially since it's couples only.
Becca's friend, Angie, bought her and her fiancee (at the time) a trip to the dude ranch and when Becca broke up with him, Angie convinced her to go on her own. Becca doesn't realize that the dude ranch is set up for couples and is based on exploring their sexuality. She checks in and start looking around and while checking out the stables, she meets up with Tyler. Becca and Tyler when to high school together (Tyler was a couple years ahead of Becca) and when they both were at the state University, they dated (apparently for a while) and were very sexually active while together (he was her first). The reason for their breakup isn't known but it sounds like maybe they drifted apart once Tyler graduated but nothing specific is mentioned. When Tyler sees Becca there, he's surprised to see her after so long and he feels a very strong attraction to her. He's also a little dismayed to realize if she's at the ranch, she must have a significant other somewhere around. Becca also feels the attraction to Tyler, stronger than ever after all this time. She hasn't had the best of luck with men and sex since they were together and Becca thinks maybe some time with Tyler is just what she needs. Soon Becca discovers the nature of the ranch and is embarrassed but Tyler talks to her and when she tentatively suggests that he partner her, he gives her until the next day to change her mind and when she doesn't he agrees.
The ranch is cool. It offers many different classes to help couples explore new areas of their sexuality. There's classes about communication and sharing fantasies with you lover. There's classes on toy use, anal, bondage, menage and even on BDSM. Tyler is very cautious about how he introduces Becca to everything and makes sure she knows that she cane stop whenever she wants to. As they start exploring each other, they both start to deepen their feelings for each other. I think they both still cared about each other from them being lovers before (it didn't seem to be a bad breakup or anything) and as they spent time together and started learning each other again, their feelings deepened. During the week that Tyler and Becca spend together, they explore many things (including an afternoon exploring menage with Jared as their one-time third). As their time came to an end, I was a bit frustrated that they didn't take the communication skills they worked on and talk to each other about the fact that they've both fallen for each other. They didn't and Becca almost leaves but an unexpected twist gives her the chance to stay and her and Tyler are able to admit their feelings and start their HEA.
This was a very enjoyable story. I really liked both Becca and Tyler and their story was really good. The sex scenes are really hot and the book has a lot of dirty talk that I liked. I'm planning to read the second book in the series next. I'd recommend this story. Thumbs up. :D

Okay here it goes.
I'm a huge fan of hot steamy cowboy erotica! Now if you're just wanting to read about some hot sex, then this book is for you. If I was to rate this based on sex then it would be an over the top 5 star read.
But...Now days I like a little story with my sex, even if it's minimal and quite stupid. This is like one big sex scene that takes place over a week. Geez even this chic needs a breather.. Ya know?
All I could think of was I don't see how shes getting pleasure. You'd think she was raw..just sayin..
It definitely left more to be desired...

What a hot and sexy book! Makes me wish there was a real place like the Quick Silver Ranch. Whew! Becca and Tyler make the most of their week together (and then some!) and then they have to find a way to make it last beyond the vacation. I liked how the Ranch worked on every aspect of the couples' relationships, not just the physical part, showing how important trust, communication, and respect are especially in a sexual relationship. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Disclosure: I picked this one up because I wanted to (much like the characters) push my own boundaries. The ménage trope isn't my usual go to read. So after reading this I've found out that I'm a one man at a time kind of girl and I don't share. I don't want my pleasure split between two people and I definitely don't want the hero sharing something so intimate as a ménage scene with the heroine's best friend. I know the saying it's a small world, but I prefer a bit more distance in my reading, even if it is fictional.
Saying all that, this book was surprisingly good. I loved the concept of the Ranch and Jared was an interesting character that I instinctively gravitate too. Angie was pretty awesome too. I felt for her and her trust issues are something we can all relate too. She fights herself and her wants and needs but the author did an awesome job making both MCs build off each other.
There is a lot of experimentation in this story and a lot of firsts for both MCs. I think them challenging themselves when it comes to their explosive chemistry was good and what really saved this book for me. The characters were memorable because of the emotional growth they both go through and the emotional connections they form.
I also really liked that Gabe (3rd in the ménage) was a side character. He wasn't a close friend or relative, he was the owner of a BDSM club so his role was not as intimate and say Jared being the 3rd for Becca and his BFF/work colleague. Did I want a bit more one on one with the MCs at the end? Yes. I managed to get through to the ménage scene (which was right at the end) and then the next day . . . Boom . . . it's over, their 14-day agreement is complete and they go their separate ways, only to realize within the first 24 hours that they belong together. The. End. I needed more reconciliation :)
I'm a sucker for an epilogue and with that cute surprise at the end, I would have loved to see these two in the not so distant future together.
If you want to push your boundaries, I think this was done well - there's a lot of BDSM elements, including a ménage scene. Still not my cuppa but I can recommend it since everything before the sharing scene was hawt!

Let me just say that I was really surprised by the story I just thought it would be just another cowboy romance boy, was I wrong.
Becca finds her fiancé in bed with her boss so she leaves him and quits her job. Meanwhile she decides to go on a vacation that her friend had set up for her and her fiancé.
It was at a dude ranch but not what you think. She runs into her high school sweetheart Tyler the one that took her virginity.
When she finally settles in she realizes that everyone is coupled except her. Tyler was really glad she remembered him so he said he would be her partner for the week.
Little does she know what's in store for her but she was open to spending the week with Tyler. The ranch has been open to couples that wanted to explore their sexuality. Let's just say that Becca's mind was opening up to things. The problem being is she started to fall in love with Tyler and he was falling in love with her but, she knew she would be leaving soon. The sex is BDSM Hot Hot Hot makes you slip off your seat. What will become of Tyler and Becca you'll have to read the book. Each book in this series is standalone.

Becca has had a really bad few days, ex-fiancée with her ex-boss, wedding plans canceled, feels like a shipwreck and can not stay in town. A friend gets her to a ranch, which an old boyfriend from college works at, but discovers that it is for couples exploring their sexuality and learning new ways to have fun. Her friend, Tyler, agrees to help her for the week.... and then..... The characters are terrific and their backstories add a lot to their actions and emotions. The locale is vivid and wonderful. The suspense of all the failed things in her life, finding out what the ranch is for, being around Tyler again and learning about herself keeps building along with the feelings she did not expect. The ending is worth the read.

Upon arriving she finds her old college flame, Tyler, working there. She later finds out that it is an adult dude ranch for couples. Can she stay? Will she stay? Will she and Tyler team up for the week she's there? Will she rediscover herself?
I loved this book. I liked that Becca and Tyler remember the past fondly and settle into the present but think of the future. I enjoyed watching Becca rediscover herself and freeing herself from old boyfriends' judgements as well as her mother's. This is so hot! I love how hot it is. For me the more, the better. Becca learns and grows that knowledge throughout the week. I also loved the ending. Perfect!

Our heroine leaves a failed relationship and stops at a couples resort. Of course now she is without a partner, but the owner and former flame of our heroine agrees to help her out.
This is an erotic romance with lots of different elements to it. The story is well written and easy to read with a pair of nicely developed characters. The hero and heroine has real chemistry, but our heroine is justifiably gun shy. Fortunately some of the early lessons are trust and communication, and with those tackled, the sky is the limit. I quite enjoyed our character's journey and I am definitely looking forward to more from this author.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. It was a hot read. Becca had left a bad relationship with no regrets. She finds her old lover at the ranch. It is a couples ranch. Tyler partners her for the week and Becca discovers herself. They didn't mean to but Becca and Tyler fall in love. When Becca is going to leave, a situation comes up that will allow her to stay at the ranch with Tyler and she jumps at it. Tyler appreciates it and soon they are married. The ranch is special and I suggest you read the book to find out why but I liked the concept at the base of it.

I came at this book kind of from the wrong end. I had read book two before reading this one, so I already had an idea of what Becca and Tyler were going to get up to here. I’m a sucker for a second chance, and from the sounds of it, this pair were in desperate need of one, and each other. I adored seeing Becca rediscover her personal power and own her preferences. It was kind of interesting to see Tyler realize that he might have been a bit of an idiot all those years ago, too. I also particularly love the idea of this magical place where people can explore these topics that are so taboo in most of the rest of the world.

Becca thought she was going to the retreat the relax and unwind, after the end of her relationship, but what she actually found was the other half of her heart, the chance to experiment sexually and the start of a new life.
After reading this scorching hot romance, I definitely needed a cold shower to calm me down. If you want to experience pure, unadulterated pleasure and learn more about sex, then I suggest you get this book immediately, because once you start reading, there is no chance of you stopping until you get to the end. It is a definite must read book.

This second chance romance for Becca and Tyler is spicy steamy hot enough to melt the words off the pages of this novel! This was such a fun novel to read since these two characters are so likeable and they compliment each other. This was a definite great addition to my library!

This is a new author for me i picked this book up as i wanted a smexy read and whilst the chemistry is there and the forplay was amazing i felt the smexy scenes lacking they would start hot then boom they were finished..... i wanted it all. Overal its a decent read.

A western adventure in sexual exploration
It’s a sweet second chance romance with some serious heat! I loved how Becca opened up to Tyler and how respectful he was of her feelings. The conclusion felt a little rushed, but otherwise a great book.

The title is pretty self explanatory. However, the kinkiness that goes on at the Quicksilver Ranch had me running for the shower just to cool off. When Becca was introduced into the story and planned on going out the the Dude Ranch, I was wondering what would even be taking place. When she runs into her old college boyfriend Tyler. Well, that just makes get turned on even more. Jared is his business partner. He is sex on a stick as well. I just though yummy and can I be Becca throughout the whole book? LOL The ranch is there to explore your sexual fantasies and Tyler wants to make sure Becca gets everything that she signed up for. I also met several secondary characters in the book that are also at the ranch for a kinky but fun getaway. I enjoyed the openness and wished there was place close to here like that.
If you enjoy books that really bring imagination and ideas to light. I suggest you check out this book. I'm into cowboys and kinkiness so this was a suitable and desirable read for me.

Roped and Ready by Marie Tuhart is a hot and heavy story about knowing one’s own sexuality and not being afraid to explore it with your loved and trusted (extremely important note – TRUST is necessary). This give a reader a good idea about what the world of BDSM and alternative sexual play and fantasies are about AND that this is perfectly normal if both partners agree to what can and cannot be explored.
Tuhart once again takes the time to develop complex characters with history, fears, problems, hopes, and dreams. She draws the reader into the story with the hopes that the heroine will overcome her fears and obstacles. Review by Sarah L: If I had to sum up this book in one word it would be HOT! I had to check the mirror to make sure my eyebrows hadn't gotten singed off.
The author portrayed the characters' emotions very well throughout the book. I felt the discomfort and embarrassment Becca felt when she realized the true purpose of the ranch and that she was the only single on a couples only retreat. I also liked how Tyler helped Becca overcome some of her fears and anxieties which had resulted from some issues from her past.
My only wish would have been a little more insight into the developing relationship between Tyler and Becca. As I mentioned before, this book is HOT however I believe if the story had been either a little longer or had one or two less sex scenes, it would have created the perfect balance.
Overall this was an enjoyable story and I look forward to reading more from this author.

An Awesome a Read!
I loved reading Quick Silver Ranch: Roped & Ready, all about Becca a young women who was cheated on by her fiancé with her boss & Tyler the part owner of Quick Silver Ranch, an Adult Dude ranch. Her BFF Angie got her this as a pre-wedding gift, but because her Ex-fiancé cheated on her she decided to come alone! What she didn't know is that this is a couples only, and she would have to leave. However Tyler is an old flame from high school & college, and he wants to reconnect and agrees to be her partner for the week! The author wrote a very hot & steamy story that will keep you very wet through out and the characters bring said story to life. I could not put this book down, give the Quick Silver ranch a go, you won't be disappointed! I can't wait to read the second book in this series!

Loved this short story by a new author to me. I really love the characters but especially the hero. He is so caring and gentle, love him. There were some toys in this story that I have never heard of but would be interested in buying. LOL I want to read the sequel to this book as soon as it comes out.

Oh I could definitely do with a long weekend at this Ranch!
I really enjoyed this book - it was different from the usual 'club' stories. Becca's week of sexual discovery through Tyler's ministrations was....HOT!! The ranch, the seminars, the couples,the toys....all made for a very entertaining read.

I was given a free copy of this book by R3Reviews group and I chose to review it. I loved this book. I have read it twice. It is a well written story. The story itself was really good. This book is worth your time and effort. I highly recommend everyone get this book. It will not disappoint you. For me it was a quick and easy read. Marie Tuhart is quickly becoming a favorite author of mine.
