I went through a super crafty phase where I was dabbling in a little bit of everything. I had delusions of grandeur that I would end up making my own scented candles for everyday use (the thought of that makes me laugh now).

The book is a good introduction to candlemaking since I had no clue coming into it. I didn't really do anything too complicated though.

Also, as a side note, making candles is extremely messy. I've never made candles since the first batch I made, which was a big batch of candles for a baby shower that were given as thank you gifts.
