I bought this beautiful book of natural medicine eagerly, with a cover cat sweetheart who resembles our wonderful Petal! I finished reading this warm, compassionate, holistic healing book in two days in October 2024. I will review it properly when I find where I tucked it and can reference special points that leaped out. I must describe the strengths of this book a little and put it in the spotlight for the animal loving public.
Mainstream, drug based doctoring and risky operations are not as efficient or helpful. The sooner we test alternatives for ourselves, not appallingly dismissing firsthand proof as “anecdotes”: the more well known the success of natural healing will become.
“Natural Cat Care” was published by the caring, sensitive, thorough Dr. Christopher Day in 2011. He passed away in England recently, God speed. Thank goodness his experience is documented for us.
I praise him best of all, for pushing the thought of euthanasia to a far last resort. He did his utmost to find actual cures and at least relief from every educational avenue available to him. He preserved life and succeeded because he did not cave into common practices.
I was generally familiar with the methods he presented. Fresh angles, new explanations, helpful insight, and sometimes personally relating to particular situations are often the benefit of reading the words of additional teachers and doctors.
I gave this five stars with appreciation, relief, and joy. I love the books of Donna Eden, Richard Allport, and Stephen Gascoigne even better but Christopher’s goodness and strength too, are worth five stars. Variance needs a ten star gauge. Half stars do not amount to an equal number of options. Dr. Christopher Day wisdom in this healing guide is excellent. I will rewrite feedback with specificity when I find my copy.

Although I did pick up a few pointers about aromatherapy, I was overwhelmingly frustrated over the lack of solid information in the book. The author provided little blurbs covering a lot of topics without providing an useful information. In many places, he provides holistic solutions for ailments (which is the main reason I got this book) without telling you how to identify the ailment.
