Interesting and widely varied but classically designed garments utilize cables, Fair Isle, bold stripes, thick ribs, bobbles. Lovely photographs with basic schematics included for most instructions but I wish Debbie Bliss designs were written to be easier for the knitter (a common complaint I have for her). Several garments, particularly the kids’ stuff, seem baggy. Those Lacy Socks will never stay up! The picture index in the back of the book is a nice feature. Nothing groundbreaking here, but a good collection of garments for the intrepid beginner and up.
