Two of the most trusted names in Christian finance teach readers how to ensure the fiscal well-being of the second half of their lives, showing baby boomers how to build a financial portfolio that will provide for their families while honoring God.
If you want to know what God says bout managing money, this is a great resource. All sections may not apply to your circumstances, however, there is great perspective in all areas with biblical reference and suggestions for further research. I have read other money management books; however, this is the most thorough. Especially great for couples.
Great book on Finanical principles from the Bible. Very practical and common sense approach founded on the Word of God. Would recommend it to be read by every pastor for two reasons: to help get his financial life in order as well as give him the necessary tools and advise to share with those who need help in planning their life and legacy in the area of finance.
An early Larry Burkett book "The Complete Financial Guide for Young Couples" changed my life about 30 years ago, so I'm a big fan of his practical guidance. This book with Ron Blue is several years old but its advice it timeless.
Solid advice on financial planning. Don't read on your Kindle, which I did. There are charts and forms that just don't translate. I am going to buy a paper copy so I can access this material.
Perhaps my age demographic isn't quite right to be reading a book about retirement and money but I did find some insights in the pages...I think most people could stand to talk a little more about financial planning and answer some of the tough questions posed in this book. I'd like to read it again in another 20 years.
Favorite quote from Jackie Mason, "I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."
This book has the benefit of being co-authored by two experts in the financial field. It teaches practical ways to manage retirement decisions. Easy to understand.
Christian based and mostly for those 50 and older. Money essentials for the second half of life. Application is always the hard part. I want to purchase this book for a reference.
