Necessary Ends

Rate this book
Sam Martin feels himself to be lucky, living in rich retirement and good health despite his old age, busying himself with painting, walking and the affairs of others he observes from his home. Surprisingly i enjoyed it...but i am absolutely sure i would enjoy it more in my old age..as someone around Sam's age in the book...Somehow the quote "Death as an old friend" comes to my mind..
