The suburbs of Denver were no place to stay during a zombie outbreak, even worse the nuclear fallout was making the place downright uninhabitable. Max and his companions needed to get out of town fast, before they joined the ranks of the living dead or the just good old fashioned dead. This is book two in the Zombie Chronicles Trilogy, not a stand alone novel.
Wow the author really ramped up the action in this installment of the series. The zombies are tougher and smarter and our heroes have been admitted up too. I can't wait to get going on the next one.
Ok, so a lot of people have complained that the books need major editing and only give 1 or 2 stars. I think that these people are selling this series short by doing that. True the editing could be better, but the writing is great. The story captures you and draws you in. I care about these people. The only thing I want is to know what happened to Tom, Cory, Amelia, and Erin. Mr. Clodi keep up the good work!
I can't believe somebody is writing from the 3rd person view and the 3rd person is sometimes a zombie or two. Brilliant!!!! A lot of times the second book of a trilogy gets too caught up in details. Not here this book flows great, couldn't put it down.As soon as I'm done with this I'm going to order everything Mark Condi has written starting with TCZ3.
This Zombie Apocalypse is a bit hard to believe. The way I see it, there would be very little chance of surviving. Zombies who can talk, use tools, use strategics, and heal from near anything??? I mean anything...I started book 3 and one is regrowing a body after decapitation. So why am I still reading this series? I'm not. I hit the part about regrowing a body and said that's enough!
I think I enjoyed the second zombie chronical instalment better then the first! The writting seemed to flow better and I found the characters to be more fully developed. Also there were fewer typo type errors that pulled me out of the story. Overall a reccomended read.
