Seeing Tangled through Rapunzel’s eyes was really fun! This author nailed Rapunzel really well and the movie events are condensed (with a few additions that I either was like “that’s not right” or secretly loved, heehee) while still managing to keep everything relevant…except for Eugene explaining himself at the campfire. That was a strange exclusion, honestly, and my only quibble with the book. At least the climax was done in full unlike the actual novelization that I will never forgive them for, grumble, grumble…

A super fun, good read!

This was a good book but younger kids would probably enjoy it more than I did. It did tell the story of the movie pretty well. It also had some nice pictures in the chapters. This might be one of my favorite Disney movies so it was kind of nice to read a book on it.

It is a Disney retelling of a perfect and entertaining movie. Rapunzel and her magical hair, the evil stepmother, and the ultimate sacrifice. There isn't much more to say.

Very cute story. Fans of Tangled will love it. It's the whole story of the movie told from Rapunzel's point of view. I thought some things didn't fit in the order or way that they were written and that some things could have been done better but overall it was a very good story and the pictures were great. I loved it.

Will a chapter book on my kindle work for my 6 year old? Yes. We enjoyed this story very much and the once-in-a-while illustrations translated to the kindle just fine. She's already asked to read it again.
