Mellie keeps a she blames fairy tales for ruining her life. She believes she can stop fairy tales from ruining other people’s lives by forcing booksellers to stop selling fairy tales.
But on the way to her protest at a book fair, she runs into a handsome man. A very handsome man who also happens to be Prince Charming. And he loves books. Even fairy tales.
The short story that provided the inspiration for Grayson’s paranormal romance novel, Wickedly Charming.
I enjoyed this week's Monday Free Story. Aparently this short story was the inspiration for Wickedly Charming, which I also enjoyed, so I have to check the Charming series (I have it in my TBR list) It has this funny theme of giving the classic fairy tales a new twist, which initially doesn't appeal to me, but I'm enjoying it with this author.
I enjoyed this unconventional view into what happens after the "Happily Ever After". Prince Charming with his new career and the Wicked Stepmother with her activism - what an amazing way of seeing things. And the possibility of a new romance ..... Ooh, I have to read the next book!
A nice prequel to Wickedly Charming. I enjoyed it, but wonder how much is repeated in the novel. Hope to read soon once I get some challenge books done....(unless I can fit Wickedly Charming into one of the challenges...)
