Charles Barkley was a great basketball player and is a great commentator. He is who he is and if you don't like it, he's just fine with that. Reading these quotes was entertaining and in many ways enlightening. I was a fan of Sir Charles then and I still am now.

I've always been a big fan of Charles Barkley. I haven't always agreed with what he has to say but I respect him for having the courage for saying what he believes & he is willing to pay the price for his conviction. Rick Reilly is better at print journalism than audio, in my opinion, because he comes off sounding like a jerk in this interview. Sir Charles, on the other hand, is revealed to be a smart, thoughtful and authentic gentleman --- oh yeah, and a fierce competitor. .
