I don't even know what to say about this book. It was a text book I had to read for class. Everytime I would read it, it made me feel more and more zombie-like. Enlightened, but bored out of my mind. A lot of coffee was consumed during the reading of this text. Learned some stuff, but I recommend reading anything by Suze Orman if you're interested in learning about managing your finances. This book was beyond dry.

Used it as a textbook as part of my business degree at Dallas College. Great textbook, and very informative.

As an instructor of PF this book is a great resource and teaching tool for students. It give the students access to educational resources that are useful for classroom study. I used this last year for my students. The McGraw-Hill Connect is great to use as well. Except for the glitches with some of the problems in McGraw-Hill's e-pak. I plan on using the 5th edition this semester with connect and the learning smart study software. Personal Finance is essential for all people to have some basic knowledge in.
