The matchmaking cats of the goddesses pride themselves on making the most pawsitively purrfect matches between two-legged creatures and four. This particular match, however, is quite the challenge. Their target witch, Jo, has already found her fated mate without their assistance, which quite frankly, is nothing short of a miracle. It's also a bit of a problem.
Because her fated mate happens to be a vampiress and earthbound cats aren't exactly fond of vampires. This makes the job of finding the purrfect feline to bond with Jo even more difficult than it already was, considering so many end up either hiding from the vampiress or chewing every single plant the garden witch manages to grow.
The matchmaking cats of the goddesses have their work cut out for them with this match.
Sadly, Pepper was not born a shifter. She dreams of being adopted (or mated) by one, but until such a glorious day arrives, she consoles herself by writing about shifters instead.
Either that, or she really IS a shifter and is just pretending NOT to be a shifter, to protect her people.
Whether the former or the latter is anyone's guess, but either way, she's living her absolute best possible shifter-life.
The matchmaking cats of the goddesses have made many purrfect matches, both between the two-legged and the four. They pride themselves on making the purrfect connections. But this time things are proving to be quite the challenge. Garden witch, Jo, has already found her mate, but she needs a familiar. However, there seems to be some obstacles in the path of her match. She's mated to a vampiress and lives in the Coven House with other witches, wolves, and chameleons. So, she needs a cat who can handle all that along with her magic. Jo needs a cat with enough magic to help her fulfill her deepest magic and with enough discipline to not destroy what her magic creates. Finding the right familiar for Jo is beginning to seem impawsible for the matchmakers with a purrfect record.
I've really enjoyed this series and this book was no exception. It was well-written and the characters were absolutely wonderful. Pepper McGraw is an excellent author and storyteller. I love her ability to create such a compelling story that you are completely enveloped from the beginning. This was a tantalizing tale that drew me in and allowed me to escape to another world for a while. It has romance, magic, and humor, and it's such a fun read. I'm very eager for the next book and I absolutely recommend both book and series.
I will start with a disclaimer; I do this as I didn't saw it in the tags for this book: this is a romance story of a same sex couple. Jo and Anikka have gone into a couple of ups and downs and looks like finally they will get their HEA and to boot a fluffy fur ball of love. Founds these stories really cute as the cat (usually) get to pair the humans and also find a forever home.

Finding the perfect companion for a witch and her vampiress, and the garden this earth witch maintains - not easy, yet oh so hilarious - especially because someone else needs to do all the cleanup, and we can just enjoy the chaos and fun.
This was another great addition to the series. Pepper McGraw has provided us with characters that are as endearing as they are entertaining. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next.

Lovely characters! This was a bit different - in a good way! It’s f/f, just so you know. So fun and entertaining, I loved it! A quick read, it was purrfect for a summer evening!
