You'll laugh as they navigate the ins and outs of life in a big family--from science experiments to baby pictures! But that's not all...
Since moving to the Big City (and away the The Louds and Royal Woods), things have changed for Bobby Santiago and Ronnie Anne. Now they're livin' la vida loca--helping out at the bodega and sharing a house with their abuelos and the whole Casagrande family!
'The Loud House #3: Live Life Loud' by Chris Savino and The Loud House Creative Team is another volume based on the Nickelodeon series.
I don't watch the cartoon, so last time I read one, I tried to pay attention the characters and keep them straight. This time around, there were so many characters, I didn't even try. Still, the book does a good job of giving most (maybe all) of the characters something to do. There are a bunch of short stories and gags featuring the characters.
Considering Lincoln Loud has 10 sisters, plus friends and neighbors, the writers did a pretty good job. It doesn't hurt that most of the characters have pretty unique interests. I liked the stories and art, and it would be a fun read for those more familiar with the cartoon than I am.
I received a review copy of this graphic novel from Papercutz and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this graphic novel.
You'd think this series was better now it's dropped the 'Choose Your Own Adventure' styling, but it's also lost any sense of character and comedy. Pointless newspaper-styled yuck strips are all we get here, along with about a third of the book reminding viewers of the TV series who's who - people who don't know the animated episodes need not bother whatsoever.
I enjoyed reading this book because it is based on one of my favorite tv shows, the loud house. It is about 11 kids,1 boy and 10 girls.Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn, Lincon, Losi, Lana, Lola, Lisa, Lilly.
I personally found this book horrible! It is written like a graphic novel, so unless you enjoy reading one, you won't like this book, no matter if you like the show or not. The worst part was the fact that one of the children has two gay men as parents, that does NOT sit right with me. We do not need to force a political opinon on young children, It is NOT right, at all. Parent's, beware of your children reading this. Not only that, but all of the stories in it were pointless. What should have been an innocent book became a political message hidden for children. Not good at all... I am ashamed of nickelodeon for publishing something like this.
The Loud House is an awesome family show. Both of my girls love it, so do I! Reading it after watching has been an awesome time for my kids! Thank you, it's a great book as expected!
This comic read just like any of the episodes you would watch on Nickelodeon. My son loves the Loud house so I read this comic together with him. I must say it was an interesting comic that kept me and my son's attention through the whole comic. It was fun reading the comic and playing the characters voices while reading. This was a fun comic, perfect for a school-aged or teenage child.
