This book is a collection of short stories and/or novellas based upon the fictional post-apocalyptic world of William Hope Hodgson's novel "The Night Land." I loved The Night Land and decided to try the novel being reviewed here - which contained some very good stories. The only negative thing about this book is that there were a LOT of spelling and sentence structure mistakes. Probably the worst example of proofreading I have ever encountered and I have read a LOT of books. Nevertheless, I will be getting the other book, "William Hope Hodgson's Night Lands, Volume 2," at some point in the future.
