I am always on the lookout for books to read to my kids. Thankfully Netgalley let's me search for these to help make bedtime special. My son is a huge Batman fan and I thought this would be a great treat for him. I miss judged the age range a bit but he still enjoyed it. My son is 3 and a half and it was a little young for him I thought. He still enjoyed it and since it is so short we read it again. This was a fun little read and I know we will be reading it again. I just might have to add another book so he is satisfied before bed.

No matter what happens in his city, Batman is BRAVE. He is not afraid of anything. He's not afraid of the dark or the scary bad guys he has to deal with. And you know what? Batman thinks you are brave too! This colorful board book will make every little one want to be a fearless superhero! DC's new board book series will be a surefire hit for preschoolers!

I'm not a batman fan, but I loved this little book!
A very toddler friendly introduction to batman, focusing on being brave & the gadgets he uses rather than any of the violence that usually goes hand in hand with superheroes.
I would love the complete set for my son!

This board book has small sentences that are easy to sound out and contain a number of Kindergarten sight words. My 6 year old son was able to read this with minimal help. This was a great bedtime story for my kiddos who are afraid of the dark. It helped calm their night time fears. I highly recommend this board book for all young readers!

This board book shows all the ways that Batman is brave even when his adventures take him into dark and scary places. Young readers will enjoy the action-filled images of his fight against bad guys as well as the clever gadgets he uses. They'll also enjoy the final page that reminds readers that they are brave too.

Batman Is Brave was a simple reader with lots of visual appeal. The message was repetitive but not overbearing, which should appeal to young readers.

This was a fun Batman book about being brave. It ends with Batman telling the reader that they can be brave too. The illustrations were fun and I could see this being a book that kids read over and over again.

Our weekly trip to the comic store often freaks Mini-Me out, so I loved the page in this that says "Monsters and villains can be scary, but Batman is not afraid." I also loved Batman's assertation that the reader is brave too. Overall, simplistic, but cute - and it didn't scare Mini-Me! :)

Liked this board book for boys and girls. Introduces Batman and incorporates elements of his story. Would be good with a kid that is afraid of the dark. Only wish Robin had been included!

Beginner reading boardroom about Batman and how he's brave. Bright colours in the illustrations making it very eye catching. My daughter loves Batman so it's always a hit :)
