I bought a slow cooker back in January and then set about looking for cookery books for it. I found this one second-hand on World of Books and I think it is quite good, as is World of Books, their free two day delivery is to die for. The instructions are, for the most part, clear and you don't always need a ton of ingredients to cook with.
I particularly liked the soup section and have slow-cooked several of these and they do taste good. I am also fond of the lamb shanks recipe and the lamb and aubergine ragout was beautiful, I made courgette spirals instead of pasta as well following her instructions, and it worked! Will definitely cook this again. There were also ideas to cook cauliflower rice and make your own tomato ketchup, both using the slow cooker. I have yet to make either of these but I intend do so!
