Grant Jeffrey is always at the forefront of current events fulfilling prophecy. He has supernatural revelation that is an important guide to the church to understand the Biblical timeline.

He details everything that is required in order for the third temple to be built, including the complex instruments and substances (such as the red heifer ashes) and furniture. He brings us up to date... when we realize that the Sanhedrin has been re-established and functioning, that many of the instruments and furniture items have been discovered as a result of the copper scrolls found with the Dead Sea scrolls, and that the Ark of the Covenant has been returned to the Temple, we know that the final time clock has begun.

He explains in detail why the third temple can be built without destroying the Dome of the Rock, but the Dome of the Rock will be in the outer court of the Gentiles... as explained in scriptures.

He also explains the fourth temple, which will be built during the millenium.

Jeffrey's work is reputable. Sadly, he died of a sudden heart attack in 2012. I do not know of anyone who can replace him. His work was unique.

He also explains how the Ark of the Covenant was brought to Ethiopia by the son of the Queen of Sheba and Solomon at the death of the Queen, when the Prince would succeed his mother on the throne. The replica Ark built by Solomon for his son to take to Ethiopia was switched for the real Ark because Solomon had brought pagan articles into the Temple; the Prince feared for the safety of the Ark. He also explains how the Ark was returned to Israel during the civil war in Ethiopia as a result of a covert operation of the Israelis. I have actually read a book written by someone on this extraction team which recounts this operation. This was the biggest stumbling block to the construction of the third temple.

Jeffrey covers every detail, and every detail is ready. Mollusks thought to be extinct were found by divers; they are necessary for the blue dye of the priestly garments. A pure red heifer has been found. The vial of anointing oil necessary for sanctifying the Temple before its first use has been found. Record after record, detail after detail, and miracle after miracle are described in this book.

He also simplifies the prophetic timeline between now and the return of Christ.

The book is short and easy to understand.

This is probably one of the most important books that a believer can read in order to understand current events.

BTW, I do not agree with his interpretation that Jesus will return within a generation of either 40 or 70 or 80 years from the time of the establishment of Israel as a nation. That would give us 8 years before the return of Christ, and 1 year before the Temple is used. It cannot be built in 1 year.

There are some terms which are not translated as precisely as possible, in my opinion. For example, the "end times". That actually refers to the time from the birth of Christ. Yes, we are in the "end times" but so were the disciples. Also, the term "soon" referring to the return of Jesus. That is actually better translated as "suddenly". So when the disciples were talking about the "soon" return of Christ, they were really talking about His "sudden" return. And the word "generation" does not mean a literal length of life span. It is better translated as "age" or "time period".

I personally do not believe that Jesus will return until the gospel is preached to the entire world, and that has not happened yet.

Just my thoughts.

While Grant Jeffrey has gone on to Heaven his books have given readers decades of knowledge. I had no idea what was beneath Jerusalem. This is one of the most important books written. Every Christian should read it. Buy the National Geographic addition about Jerusalem and see more pictures. Details from both the bible and his visits show how beautiful the temple really was and will be again.

Numerous biblical prophecies have already come true in major ways. Certain conceived hurdles have already been overcome or have been solved. All signs point to we are living in the end times.
-The Dome of the rock will not be an issue for rebuilding the third temple. It’s location isn’t as problematic as they thought.
-The Sanhedrin court has been resurrected
-Israel and her people and her language have been restored.
-The abundance of wealth that god promised in the sea is accurate with the mineral rich Dead Sea that they’ve been able to use to make trillions in GDP.
-The ark of the covenant isn’t as “lost” as most people think.
-Vessels and holy worshipping objects have been recovered and/or rebuilt. Anointing oil, red heifer purifying oil, and others.
-Iran and Russia alliance that will wage war on Israel. (Russia & Iran are modern day close allies)

I liked the laying out of the reasons that building the temple will not require demolishing other buildings; the catacomb tunnels under Jerusalem, and the preparations underway to re-establish the Sanhedrin and the Levite sacrificial system.

I'm hoping he will have updated the book as it was written in 2007, so speculations on how the previous statements will work can be looked at.

BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) and the EU have occurred since 2007. Currently there's a war between Russia and Ukraine, and America seems to want war on all fronts, despite the value of the dollar inflating. Israel seems to be the only place America hasn't looked and thought "ooo war"......

This was an interesting book in that it added to my understanding of the Jewish point of view about the importance of the temple and the area around it in Jerusalem. I don't agree with the premise that the temple must be restored along with the sacrificial system before Christ can return. That point of view doesn't seem to fit with Scripture as I understand it.

This book was awesome. I may be a bit biased though because my aunt, my brother, and myself actually made the trip to Jerusalem and took their underground tour. If you are into archaeology, you could do a lot worse than Jerusalem. But more than that, the material in the book is fascinating. Things are really starting to shake.

A very interesting book. It will require more research of the Bible and I'd like to discuss it with someone whose theology I trust.

Tremendous evidence the Jewish authorities are preparing to rebuild the temple in Jerusalem. This is all happening despite impossible odds to prepare for Christs return.
