Sweet book that my son has enjoyed from baby to toddler. He loves that the puppet tells the story and now can act out the story himself. The story itself is not much just a caterpillar that eats, builds a cocoon and then turns into a butterfly. Still, it's one of the most remarkable and accessible transformation stories for kids.
At first I thought this was going to be a bust. My 10-month-old was really frustrated that the finger puppet wouldn't come out of the book. She seems to have accepted it now and enjoys having the puppet "tell" her the story when we read the book.
This was the first book my baby liked because it was interactive and he could chew/hold on the finger puppet. I like this one most out of all the other baby finger-puppet books out there. It's also very sturdy--it hasn't fallen apart like some of his other baby books.
