Glenn has disbanded the Order of the Seven Spears and established the Order of Heaven's Spear in its place. This new band of super-powered knights sets forth to recruit the strongest fighters in the land, luring them to Glenn's cause by offering a share of the incredible power they wield. As Glenn and his knights hunt down all those who have ever opposed him, the man at the very top of that list-"Hero-Killer" Köinzell-eludes Glenn's forces and journeys to the capital, the next stop on his quest for justice!
I’m glad that the girls are with Koinzell and that his been reunited with his master instructor. Also, that she believed him!
Is it just me or does the King look different than he did in the beginning of this story? Is it all for a haircut and trimming his beard?
I’m suspicious that Glenn staged the attack on Rozen and Degate to “win” people over. Putting those two and Ichfeis through the Hall of Sword academy to have them indebted to him.
At first it was like he made those monuments to the “traitorous lances” and took Ichfeis under his wing out of quilt. But it was to make himself look good in the eyes of the people. 🙄
I don't have the inspiration right now for an in-depth review, but I do have this to share:
The (proper, with everyone aware of it) reunion of two of my favorite characters finally occurred. I'm pleased as punch.
The art for Gnodys is wildly inconsistent. Sometimes it's good art, sometimes it's bad art; sometimes the character looks kinda cool (if outlandish), and sometimes (more often) every bit as deeply weird as her name.
It's never enough. Amazing story with fun twists. Love the art and the characters. Our main character is seen for the first time from a new perspective.
