Rate this book
A portal opened -- as a means for amends,
Leaves a vengeful spirit to roam.
Helping him cross over is the only way,
To restore peace within the home.

It's Halloween, and Piper is busy decorating the Manor, which has become the neighborhood hot spot on the most bewitching night of the year. Meanwhile, Paige decides to use the party as a chance to honor the dead. She casts a spell that creates a portal for a clan of leprechauns...and other wandering spirits.

The guests are thrilled and impressed with the realistic effects, but Phoebe, Piper, and Paige soon realize that they have a big trick to deal with: one not-so-friendly ghost going out of his way to turn the Manor into a haunted house. The Charmed Ones must stop this evil soul with a vengeance before he takes the life of one experienced ghost hunter who knows his story and has met him before....

This was a fun story and I would've loved if it had been an actual episode. I liked how it had the leprechauns in it and kind of wrapped up things with them. It was also fun seeing all three couples together, because you didn't get too much of that on the show before it ended.

This was a fun Halloween read following the Charmed Ones. I don’t think this would be been nearly as enjoyable had I not been familiar with the show and its characters though. I did love getting a glimpse of all three sisters with their husbands and kids and how that aspect of their lives was woven into the story. If you are looking for a fun read for the spooky season and are a fan of this show this is definitely worth picking up.

Well, this just felt like coming home.
Do I think this book is for anyone who hasn’t seen the show? NO.
But if you’ve seen the show and you loved it and are looking for that nostalgia. I think this might do the trick. The editing had a few errors where names were suddenly wrong. But as someone who grew up on this show and has seen every episode at least 10 times (probably closer to 15-20), I appreciated all the references and found almost all of them accurate.
So, yes my rating is mainly for that comfy feeling i got reading this.

Halloween was always a special time for the sisters, and this story really ramped that up. Trick or Treaters, the house taking on a life, and magic of it's own, and rampant mayhem. All made for an enchanting, magical, and wild ride. I enjoy the spells in these books as well. It is always such fun to read them, and see their creation.

WHAT A FANTASTIC WAY TO END THE MONTH!

So I actually read this book roughly 7 or so years ago - but had forgotten everything that happened so it felt like a first-time read.

Having loved the show so much, made reading this book a real treat as it's set post the series finale!

I just enjoyed every single moment with this read. No cons at all

5 Stars! xoxo.

I've read a few Charmed books and usually enjoy them. They're written for teens so they're not great literature or anything, but they're fun and bring back memories of the show, which I was a huge fan of. However, this one was a little more grating than enjoyable. As each sister is introduced into the narrative, a lot of incidents from the past are mentioned. Example: "Three years ago, a 'Return to Owner' spell on a pair of Grams' red go-go boots had sent Paige back to 1967." I remembered all of these incidents from the TV show, but by the end of the first chapter, it was information overload. And this continued throughout the book. At the time the book is set, Phoebe is married to Coop. Yet on page 122, Coop is referred to as Cole. Twice! The most interesting scene in the book (to me) involved Paige brewing a potion, and asking Piper to hand her the powdered dragons' blood. I had watched Off The Map the night before, about a group of doctors working at a clinic in a tiny town in the South American jungle, and two of the doctor's had walked through the jungle, scratching at trees with a knife, looking for dragons' blood, a resin. They used it as an adhesive to make temporary bandages.

I absolutely loved this book. it took place the Halloween after the series ended. it had the girls their husbands and the kids in it. I adored it and the Halloween And ghost haunting was perfect. I wish they had more books out after the show ended. Ken's only thing annoyed me because his horrible disbelief. Other that was great.

Fiona a ghost hunter is at the Halliwell Manor Halloween night after Paige did a spell to bring back some ghost leprechauns. But they're not the only ones that came back an evil ghost named Sheldon came back wanting revenge on Fiona for sending his wife to the afterlife after he killed her.

Wyatt their oldest son also does a spell that brings his camouflage pants back. And that storyline I thought was adorable.

Considering this book is the last in the Charmed series, I think it was decent. The story is nothing special, but it was nice to have Leo, Henry, Coop, Vincent, Wyatt, and Chris in it. I also like that the book takes place during Halloween and gives Paige some closure with the leprechauns. As other people have noted, there are several instances where the editor should have caught distracting typos (such as when Cole, Phoebe's ex husband, is used instead of Coop, Phoebe's current husband and the one who is actually in the story). If you're a fan of the series (book, comic, and/or tv) then I'd recommend reading this novel.

Now this is exactly the kind of spin-off story I was looking for. True to the characters, true to folklore and to what the Charmed series was all about, Trickery Treat was an easy read, engaging, and fun. What a coincidence that I finished it on Halloween, too!

If you're into the Charmed series, I'd say save this book in your quest of reading through the series for last. It'll be a great refresher after the other books--most of which aren't half as good as this one.

Wow. This book just really made my night.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Ok, yes. I read what is basically Charmed "fan fiction" ok? I stumbled upon the first set(aka with Prue) of these at my local library around the time I was 14 and fell in love with them since I am a HUGE fan of Charmed. I was ecstatic to find this one at Half Priced books as it is the only one I am missing. For fans of Charmed, this is perfect. The book takes place 5 months after their defeat of the "Ultimate Power" and it is just a nice little closing story that allows the fans to see the sisters all married and happy. It was wonderful. I highly recommend it.

The story of this book takes place after the events of the show, which I really liked, because my favourite male characters were in it (Leo, Coop and Henry).

It was very entertaining, I thought, good story, though, here and there, I found some mistakes, like a change of names or something (for example, I think the author meant to write "Coop" but wrote "Cole"). But other than that, I really liked it.

The storyline was good however there were lots of errors pertaining to the history of the charmed ones and just in keeping with the storyline. It was kinda fun trying to see how many errors I could find.

LOVED. But you've got to be a fan of the show to get into it. The characters and story lines have already been put into place and they do some explaining but not enough for someone completely new to the series.

Actually pretty decent for a post-finale novel. I'm sad there aren't more of these books, because I had fun reading all - wow - 41 of them.
