Although this book was written in 2003 it still applies to today. This book gave me a new perspective on living simplicity as a part of life and how to take steps toward a life of enjoyment through making simple choices over time that can have a huge impact on personal simplicity and by doing that, treating our earth and our relationships with true kindness.

My favorite part of this book, which has lots to like, is the resource section at the end of each chapter. I'm finding so many more books on this new subject I am very interested in. The activity suggestions give wonderful direction, too.

From page 29: "Lifework Assignment #1: Go through your possessions ... get rid of whatever you don't need." ?? If only voluntary simplicity were so easy.
