This story is great fun. Santa can't find his suit so he goes up to the attic and comes back dressed as a... Cowboy Pirate Clown Fireman Pitcher The elves don't think any of these suits will work. Then Mrs. Santa comes in with a new suit for Santa. Surprise--she has a suit too and she's coming along to help!
Fun and gentle seasonal story. It's Christmas Eve and Santa cannot find his red suit. He tries out various alternate outfits which will cause readers to giggle before Mrs Claus comes home and solves the problem! Hurrah for Mrs Claus! Nice simple words for early readers. Good repetition.
This book is exactly the right level for emerging readers. And it strike exactly the right chord with exactly the humor for early elementary kids. And it was pretty funny for the adult listener/reader, too.
When Santa can't find his red suit, he tries new looks but none of them seem to be quite right.
This is a cute book with fun illustrations. It's certainly not amazing reading, but it is designed for young readers with simple words and phrases that are good for beginning readers.
My own little Kindergartener laughed at all the different looks Santa tried but was very happy when Santa's red suit was 'found'.
I remember this from my childhood. This was my "favorite" book when I was a beginning reader. However, as an adult, I can see that it's probably not the most compelling read. I'm sure little ones will enjoy it.
