I was given a copy of Soulsearch in exchange for an honest review.
This is the sequel to Soulmate, which I really enjoyed. I can say in all honesty that I loved this book even more! At the end of the first book, I had no idea where Ms. McAllen was going to take the story. I wasn't disappointed. I devoured this book in to days.
It's starts out following the journey of Rider and Rachel, searching for clues to the mystery of Rider's past. Paige is back in full force (I absolutely love Paige!), so that made me happy. They meet Zach, who may or may not have a secret of his own.
The story flows beautifully, the characters are well developed and the ending had me gasping! Please read this book! It is truly worth it!

Falling in love to me is all about butterflies, learning to trust and exploring each other's lives, with first love also being the most innocent feeling we all arrrr at. I felt love, excitement, mystery and suspense in this story. To me an Author who can make me feel real emotions alongside the characters is a great compliment to the skill they show in their writing, running alongside a great imagination gives a good Novel. I don't like leaving spoilers about stories, therefore my opinion is, this series is well worth a read. The cliffhanger in the first book was good, but the one in book 2 was an absolute, Noooooo, don't finish there!!! I need to know what happens.

Not sure if my review would be considered to have spoilers or not. I tried not to not give away details. Fun fantasy read. Number 2 in the series picks up pretty much where book 1 left off . This one splits it's time between following up with Rachel and Rider's story and the happy yet sad outcome of the accident and Paige and her boyfriend. The friendship between the two girls is beautiful and their compassion grows to include both girls' boyfriends in the circle. This is somewhat of a quest story, which is fun too. So nice that the outcome of sharing the secret is a somewhat positive one compared to the previous story. Yes, I can see sci-fic lovers being more open to the possibilities of strange things in the world. There is also a hard decision that highlights the enormity of his struggle in this book that is put off as a possibility for later which is nicely handled. Book two's mood is lighter in the fact that in a larger town, with older and more open-minded teens, they are able to use the lesson of discretion so painfully learned previously to inform their choices. It shows growth in the main characters while highlighting the bullies lack of emotional growth when the main characters come into contact with them.

On another note about amazon itself, to my knowledge, this edition is not TTS enabled on the reader app unless read on kindle equipment which makes me angry. There are a lot of people who are being penalized for being reading/sight impaired that could enjoy this title, but instead they are charged extra by amazon for a situation that is beyond their control for an accommodation. This is a situation like expecting a deaf person to watch tv without closed captioning. Yah, it can be done by some with so much effort as to put a person off reading entirely; and not at all by others. I'm grateful I was able to contact the author on her website to get a TTS usable copy after sending her proof of purchase ('cause authors gotta eat too). Many, many thanks! She turned my frown upside-down :-]

I absolutely loved this book! This follows the first book Soul Mate and I was so enthralled I couldn't put it down! I can't wait for 3! These are characters that you invest yourself in and have to see through to the end of the journey. Amazing story line, amazing loveable characters. McAllen is one of my new favorite authors!

This is an awesome series!!

This book is Soulsearch, book two in The Soulmate series, written by Kellie McAllen. I love the imagination of the author and her ability to twist the truth around into this fantastical series. Although the end of book one wasn't exactly a cliffhanger....this ONE IS!! OMG! How could you leave us suspended in midair like that? Argh!!

Another new plot

Very interesting concept I would never have thought of. If you want to read a clean unusual story I recommend this series. It is best to read in order of the series.
