Haha. I love Pirates of The Caribbean. This quick graphic novel was just what the doctor ordered. A short little sum up of the movie with lots of fun, colorful pictures. I especially enjoyed the Kraken and the sword fight up on top of the wheel. So exciting!! Pirates never fail to amaze and entertain me =)

Well the lines in this comic were taken pretty much entirely from the movie and just shortened. The shortening took away some of the wit and cleverness but I understand that they had to be shortened because this is meant for small children.

Hazel is big into graphic novels and pirates right now. I am ready for the phase to be over. Or her to read well enough to read them herself.
