This is a book that I have come to appreciate more and more as my fly-tying skills have increased. As a novice, it did little more than gather dust. But as my interest in tying has grown, so too has my interest in this book. Practically every technique that has ever been devised is covered in pain staking detail. And it's not just about techniques. There are many, many pages devoted to almost every other aspect of tying from tools and materials to the history and background of all the various tools, materials, styles, and techniques. All in all, I'd say it's the next best thing to having a well-seasoned, master tyer sitting right there at the bench with you.

Amazing, end-all be-all reference for fly tying techniques and methods. Expensive, but well worth every penny!
