i fucking loved it and that's for the review lmao. 2 seasons down with this bad boy and i'll at least wait for season 3 to finish before devouring this story again. god, i'm addicted!

Full of violence and quite the stressful read, not for everyone, that's for sure. Sooyoung deserves the world but, of course, gets shit instead.

La historia va cargada de muchos tropos comunes en los BL, pero no por ello decepcionante. La calidad del dibujo de Black Apricot es soberbia y el blanco y negro es el más adecuado para esta historia, que va de un boxeador lisiado (Soo Young) que debe pagar la deuda que ha dejado su padre, a un mafioso ¿con corazón de oro? llamado Tae Seung, quien, como no podía ser de otra forma en una historia con tags #Mafia #Obsesión #amor tóxico, le va a cobrar la deuda e intereses "en especie". Sobra decir que es explicita y que es +19 (para Corea) y +18 en este lado del charco. Revisando diría que este volumen abarca la primera temporada que va del capítulo 1 al 21 + la nota del autor con el perfil de los personajes.

Ya quisiera tener la edición impresa ToT, pero afortunadamente Lezhin ES lo trajo completo como webtoon, de manera legal.

“I took a step into his world

This manhwa fucked me up for any other manhwa.

From minhyuk to taesung to our beloved mc suyeong. I don’t think I have ever, so effortlessly, fallen in love with such complex characters. They had so many layers to them that sometimes while peeling them off one by one, I came across some hard truth about human nature and their reasoning behind their action. And even though I hated them at some point. I couldn’t say the same thing by the end.

The artist had such incredible talent to make me see the whole picture without loosing sight of who they really were. And can I now appreciate how the ending changes from black and white to freaking colours.

I truly wanted the best for all three protagonist. But I have to admit I did have a quiet favourite. I was so captivated by minhyuk that I was almost worried that, him not getting the guy, would totally sour my experience.

But when the time came, taesung had already won me over. And honestly, I wasn’t even suprised. Because contrary to what you may believe.. My dear taesung, you were so much easier to love..

I loved the art and I was excited about this webtoon at first, but 6 months in and there has been absolutely no plot development. Every chapter is pretty much boxer boy getting pounded while saying "NO"... Sex is good but I could just watch porn if there isn't going to be a plot. I mean porn's free and someone expects to get paid for this. I don't think I'll regret it if I drop this. Maybe I'll just give up all manhwa and manhua and stick to manga. I feel like I got swindled.

So yeah I read this twice in just a few short months. Honestly, it just gets better and better as the story progresses. Kwon Suyeong and Park Taeseung's relationship was pretty toxic from the beginning. But around 70 chapters in something crucial happens that changes the dynamic of the story. The relationship blossoms. Still, though you can see Park Taeseung warring with himself on right and wrong.

I can't get enough of the way Park talks to Kwon and ask him questions. It's like he wants to know every little detail. And not only that the way Park watches him for any sign of blushing or discomfort. And he addresses Kwon in a way where Park is not outright giving him a hand with his bad leg. Which by the way is what everyone else does. Others look at Kwon as less than a person and Park looks at him as a fighter. Still, this does not excuse the way Park treated him I am well aware.

And omg Min-Hyuk is the cutest thing alive but he is such a jerk. Well unless he is with a sober Kwon. And the recent amusement park scene....... can I just say Park's facial expressions might have made everything all worth while lol. A mob boss on a Rollercoaster is there nothing better?
