Transactional Analysis in Bite Sized Chunks is a series of e-booklets, each introducing a key concept in Transactional Analysis. The aim isto make TA accessible and to demonstrate how it may be applied by everyone to enhance understanding and aid self-development.Scripts can be described as our internal survival guides, created in childhood and followed in adulthood where their imperatives can either work for or against us. This booklet outlines how concepts shape our scripts, what we can expect to find in our scripts, what drives us to certain behaviours and how to opt out of them should we choose.

An easy read without passing on quality

Really wonderful and easy to digest for those invested in self improvement or recovery, as well as those interested in psychology. It also provides a brief insight into why traumatised people behave the way they do, which is vital information for partners of those with Cptsd, bpd etc.

Short but covers everything.

I think this book is wonderful! It is short but I'm a great believer in the point should be easy to get to and this delivered perfectly without becoming boring. So much insightful information that can be put to use.

Simplicity allows learning

This book will assist even those who have swallowed the textbook, to understand themselves more deeply. That's the aim right?

very useful summary

concise, easy to read, not too technical and highly useable especially along side family /systemic therapy where understanding patterns we inherit from parents and breaking free is healing

Have been reading a lot on Transactional Analysis (TA) lately. Some TA books have been heavy and I felt like I had to clutch a thesaurus to get through them.

This book is literally in 'bite sized chunks." I devoured it and then returned to the TA tomes feeling a bit more confident and ready to dive in.

Good overview

Good quick clear read for counselors or therapists who want an understanding of TA
Might not make sense to anyone who hasn't had psychoanalysis of childhood issues still being played out in adulthood.
