The Nook Manual is a great resource; but more than likely you got the Nook as a gift, and you want to start using it without spending hours engulfed in the supplied manual. That's where this guide comes in. Some of the tips here are repeated from the manuals, others are completely new (including hacks and mods that are only for more experienced users). The point of the guide is to get you comfortable with using the Nook in less than an hour.
This is for the generation 1 Nook with the 3G network although I'm sure that some tips/tricks are the same. This is great to have or at least borrow if possible. One of the most important things that I found this book helpful for was how to scan your nook for viruses. It tells you how to add music to your nook and trouble shooting tips. Some things of course are things that we've all figured out how to do just by playing with it.
Most of the information in this book can be found in the User Manual that came with the NookColor, and the rest of the tips can be figured out just by using the Nook or the internet. If you're thinking of getting this ebook, don't!
