Using Arcgis Geostatistical Analyst

Rate this book
ArcGIS Geostatistical Analyst enables users to predict the magnitude or quantity of some phenomena across, above, or below a landscape. Predictions of such phenomena are made using measured sample points taken at various locations in the study site. This guide offers information on how to represent data and determine what trends may exist, choose and fit a model such as Kriging, CoKriging, and IDW, perform diagnostic tests on data, and compare the results of different models.

Good reference for those that will be using arcgis for data analysis. This book helps the analyst choose an appropriate technique to analyze and predict many different phenomena and as long as data is accessible it can provide a wealth of information that can be displayed in a map document or other reports that are provided by the gis software.
