I have 48 novels and over 290 short stories currently published.

I'm the co-author, with Sunset Thomas, of Anatomy of An Adult Film.

I spent my early years in the part of Los Angeles known as the South Central. I was known as Whi' Boy, which was sufficient to indentify me in that place. I'm a skilled kung-fu player, using a system that I learned from a Korean I knew only as 'Pak.' It would be easier to tell you the places that Pak wasn't wanted by the police, rather than the places where he was wanted by the police. Pak's kung-fu system, augmented by some bits and pieces from some Chinese practicioners is quick and effective, or I wouldn't be alive today.

My early education was mostly obtained by stealing books from the public library (I always returned them and the Librarian even began to provide me with reading lists.) I did go to high schools, but I never really learned anything there. I eventually graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles, UCLA, with a degree in mathematics.

I work as a Systems Analyst and also make a part of my living as a professional gambler (legal in Nevada.)

I write science fiction, erotica and adventure. My published novels are:

The kind of action I have come to expect from R. Richard.
A computer programmer has his boss disappear. The boss has a high level security clearance. The FBI has to find him. The computer programmer develops an idea as to where his former boss has gone.
Since the programmer is the only guy who can positively identify his former boss, the programmer winds up as the amateur part of an FBI extraction team.
One by one, the FBI team meets with a violent end, until only the FBI leader, a lady named Susan, and the programmer are left.
The FBI team has been betrayed by a foreign government and by the US government.
The programmer is falling for the FBI lady and he will kill anyone who tries to harm her.
Quite a few people try to harm the FBI lady.

An adventure story starring a computer programmer, Jim Owen. His boss, Dave, has disappeared and instead of Jim Owen taking over managing his department, he's asked to train his new boss.
Jim then becomes involved with the wrap up of Dave's estate, and learns some things about the man. He then comes up with an idea as to where Dave might have gone.
Jim then manages to comvince the FBI, who must locate Dave.
Jim is the only one who can positively identify Dave, therefore, he is drafted to go to Chile to find Dave.
The mission to find Dave quickly becomes a non-stop adventure. One of the FBI squad is murdered on the plane down to Chile. The rest of the team are all known to people in Chile. Only Jim is unknown.
Things begin to break down. The FBI team is betrayed by their own government, possibly due to stupidity, probably betrayed by the Chilean government and hunted by the Chinese. The FBI team discovers that Jim is not only unknown to the other side, he also has about the same reaction to killing people as he has to eliminating bugs in his computer programs.
The action is fast, furious and deadly. The FBI team finds and deals with Dave. Now, reduced to just Jim and the FBI lady who heads the team, they are faced with the problem of getting back home. The trip home is as much of an adventure as the operation to find Dave.
A good read!
