No wonder this book is considered the feller's bible! It is very well redacted, the illustrations are easy to understand and the formulas and calculations are as accurate as you can get. Whether you are a felling or just bucking and limbing, if you are a sawyer I absolutely recommend this book.
Great and thorough over view. I just wish it went a little further into depth about a few things including some hinge cutting techniques for side leaners that were not mentioned and more detail on the storm damaged tree section.
Super amazing book with lots of practical tips for sawyers who want to learn about cutting, and do so safely. Highly recommend if you like cutting trees!
Super informative. Studying this really helped me with my safety assessments during my chainsaw training. I recommend everyone going on a timber harvest give this a read, no matter what your experience level is.
