I read this for work to try to have a clearer understanding of the processes children experience as they learn to read. It was a bit too research based for me. But it was informative about how children learn to read and theories behind why they experience difficulties. I'm looking for something a bit more practical with strategies that I can implement in the library. It definitely did give me some things to think about but it was a heavy going read.
