It's a great study guide! I advise it to everyone who prepares for the PHR exam. However, it's best to combine it with a couple of other books of the same context for better results. I wish only the paper quality would be better but that's what you get for an affordable price!

As a former HR games team member, I have watched the SMSU HR team do quite well over the years and while I know we do not typically buy study guides, I feel this is a resource we cannot be without as our team advances and interest in the program grows.

I passed my PHR certification using only this book to prepare. I bought it on Amazon. You do NOT need $2k worth of SHRM training materials and books to pass the test.
